Summary
The Climate Resilient and inclusive Water Infrastructure for rural Smallholders (CRWIS) will contribute to strengthening the climate resilience of water-insecure rural communities in Thanh Hoa and Nghe An provinces for their sustainable and inclusive socio-economic development.
Components and Objectives
CRWIS has three components:
Component 1: Improved water availability and control in climate-vulnerable agricultural areas through rehabilitation and upgrade of critical infrastructure.
Component 2: Improved capacity of and coordination between local institutions and water user groups for climate-informed and inclusive water management.
Component 3: Strengthened resilience of rural livelihoods through development of pro-poor and climate-adapted agricultural business models.
